The Infernal Pyros of Magmaroc
These warriors are dedicated pyromaniacs, clad in enchanted armor that allows them to control and wield fire. The Pyros of Magmaroc are particularly interesting as a high-risk, high-reward warband. Many of their abilities gain strength when they are on the verge of defeat, making them dangerous even when cornered. Pyros have multiple area-of-effect (AoE) attacks that can affect multiple hexes, potentially turning the tide of battle in a well-timed conflagration.
Ashen Stalkers
Stealth and speed define the Ashen Stalkers, a warband inspired by hunters who thrive in dark, smoky landscapes. Unlike the Pyros, the Stalkers rely on mobility, skirmish tactics, and surprise attacks. Some of their cards introduce new mechanics for smoke and shadow effects, making it difficult for enemies to target or even track them on the battlefield. This warband’s playstyle emphasizes outmaneuvering opponents and exploiting Embergard’s terrain for strategic advantage.
